Year 1 OWL

Today we stayed in the school grounds for our OWL. Last term, Bow kindly gave the class a vegetable box as part of our ‘Garden’ topic. Today the Year 1’s got to plant the box. Year 1 are going to take it in turns to water the box and hopefully a selection of vegetables will grow.

We also made a ‘wormery’. We had fun laying the soil and sand. However, the best bit was looking for the worms!
